You mean, the SAR-Cov-2 virus that causes the COVID-19 disease. The pandemic. How do you stay safe…
Try to prevent from getting it. Beware of anyone nearby coughing, sneezing, showing sickness symptoms. Stay away. Realize that little droplets that they sneeze into the air, fall down, but could fly around for a bit before coming down.
Stay healthy. Keep fit. Stay hydrated. Have good sleeps. Also keep mentally healthy. keep doing things that you enjoy. If you go out running, no problem, keep doing that, for example. If you go swimming, make sure you don’t have anyone nearby coughing. Some idiots continue to go around coughing thinking nothing of it. That irritates me to no end, but people do it.
When in public especially, never have your hands anywhere near you face! This is absolutely key. When you get home, first think you do, is dash for the kitchen or bathroom, and wash your hands with soap and warm water. Never ever slack on that!

Realize that you might or might not get it. Realize that the authorities, although they come across on tv as they have it all figured out, they really haven’t figured it out. There are lots of conflicts and contradictions in the things they say every day. Not that they’re full of crap, they aren’t. But just that they don’t have it all correct.
For example, they say that 50 to 70 % of the population will get it. Oh really? The flu is a thing also. Yet, not 50 to 70 % gets that! So riddle me that, “WHO” !
So, 3.4% mortality rate eh? Yeah, and what about those regions where they went looking for sick people, and where they included many mild cases in their confirmed case count? The death percentage in those places is below 1%. While in the other countries, notably the west, only the very sick people that went looking for help, those people make up most of the confirmed cases. So the death rate there is high. Duh, ok, Sherlock….
No, the WHO hasn’t figured it out. People on the internet just looking at the data, can and do figure out things that the people working at the WHO haven’t yet really clued in how to actually properly communicate yet. Oh come on - some guy on the internet outsmarting them - who do this professionally for a living, with years of experience, and access to all sorts of data that no one else does…. yep! Yessiry !
